Frankfurt am Main, 3 July 2020 – Legal operations software provider BusyLamp has today announced the upcoming release of Matter.Space, its new matter management software solution for in-house legal teams.
Matter.Space is a cloud-native matter management solution that can run on public, private, hybrid or any combination of these cloud options. It comprises document, knowledge, time and workload management functionality.
By working in close collaboration with its existing BusyLamp legal spend management customers, BusyLamp has created what they consider to be the most user friendly and secure matter management solution on the market. Matter.Space organises the existing multiverse of matter information into one source of truth, including documents, emails, appointments, deadlines, contact persons, courts, external legal advisors and spend, while integrating seamlessly with many products from the Microsoft ecosystem.
Carina Smolik-Fischer, BusyLamp’s Director Product Management, designed one of the very first matter management solutions, which was sold to a leading ELM Solutions provider in 2015. She has been leading the development of Matter.Space, and said: “Efficient legal matter management requires having all information in one place. Matter.Space integrates with your existing Microsoft environment and has an intelligent full-text search, which means counsel can work in the tools they are already familiar with and find information quickly.”
Sven Listing, VP Engineering and Information Security Officer at BusyLamp added, “Data security is critical to in-house legal teams due to the sensitive nature of legal matter information. Matter.Space has the latest banking-grade encryption, meets a range of global certifications and standards, including ISO 27001 and GDPR, and can be seamlessly integrated in any IT ecosystem or application without compromising the highest security standards.”
The product is due to be released at the end of summer. To request early access to the product, please contact Carina on firstname.lastname@example.org.
