Eason

Ben is the Head of Legal Transformation and Business Management at Barclays, having joined from JP Morgan.

 

Ben is a transformational leader with 12 years of Barclays experience and over 20 years of industry experience.  Ben has successfully led major technology programmes across the firm most recently in Legal and Operations and has been accountable to the most senior leaders in the firm for those deliverables. In 2018 as the first non-lawyer to run the Global Legal Contract Negotiation group (GCS) Ben faced off to clients and business heads alike managing contract negotiators across the Markets business and implemented improvements in technology, process, people and culture to great applaud from end to end stakeholders, this capitalized on his previous experience running FX & Commodities middle-offices.

 

In addition to transformation and BAU/line roles Ben has a commercial mindset and has led COO/BM offices overseeing reducing cost-bases and a Colleague engagement team engaging with 30,000 people globally in an enterprise-wide Operations group.
